Flowers make everything better!

There is power in flowers, at least to me! Flowers with their vibrant colors and great smells add so much beauty and life to where they are placed. In our case - in front of our far too long orphaned little farmhouse! Off to the nursery we went! Some of my first purchases for the house were terracotta pots, soil, and lots of colorful flowers! To heck with having furniture, outdoor beauty first! In Italy, they love to use geraniums and trailing geramiums so we have lots of those. Many will actually overwinter which I find surprising because it can get quite cold there in the winter. But…..I love it when we return in May and they are coming back to life.
