Besides being in a beautiful part of Italy (Lecchi in Chianti) and being made of stone, there wasn’t a lot of drive up appeal to the little house our realtor had brought us to. But…..we allowed ourselves to get out of the car and we are so glad we did. Walk to the left or to the right of the top half of the house and the panoramic views of the vineyards, the olive orchards, and the beauty beyond were stunning!

If we are at the Rum house, there has to be flowers to greet you. Flowers make everyone’s day better!

San Martino 62 as seen from the back on our initial viewing. Notice the shutters are rotted and need some love. Replacing the rotted windows and the door and the shutters were our first order of the day as it related to the start of the renovation. Now to the inside!
